I believe one of the great struggles within the church today is that the office of a pastor is not viewed by church members through a biblical lens. So often our understanding of the pastor and his God given role is determined by culture, inside and outside the church. This problem is not just in the pew…it can also be in the pastor.
I am strong advocate for church life being governed by the Word of God and not by the opinions of man. This article is my attempt to present a biblical portrait of a pastor.
